Tony Tuckson (1921 – 1973) is one of Australia’s few abstract expressionists. During his lifetime Tuckson held only two solo exhibitions and was involved in a hand full of group exhibitions. Considered Australia’s greatest abstract expressionist, no account of 20th century Australian art would be complete without his work.
