PAT CORRIGAN CURATES ‘GUILTY PLEASURES’ OPENING TONIGHT IN CHIPPENDALE

Home@735 director Madeleine Preston has a painting in ‘Guilty Pleasures’ – an exhibition inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins and part of Good Food Month opening tonight at 6pm at the Old Rum Store, 2-10 Kensington Street, Chippendale.

‘Guilty Pleasures’ is co-curated by esteemed philanthropist and art collector Pat Corrigan and Nicky Ginsberg director of Kensington Contemporary.

A percentage of the proceeds of the exhibition will go towards OzHarvest, the brainchild of 2010 Australian of the Year, Ronni Kahn. In 2005 Ozharvest successfully lobbied to legalise the donation of surplus food to charitable organisations, ever since they have helped countless Australians by using excess for good.
Exhibiting artists include Laura Jones, India Mark, Nick Stathopoulos, Marc Etherington, Susan O’Doherty, Noel MeKenna, Mirra Whale, Luke Sciberras and James Powditch.
