Madeleine Preston
Madeleine Preston is a Sydney based artist working in painting, sculpture, and installation. She received the G.S.Caird scholarship for Fine Arts at Sydney University and has a MFA in painting from RMIT. In 2015 she was a finalist in the Hobart and the Mosman Art Prizes. In 2016 she was a finalist in the Blake Prize and Sulman Prizes. In 2017 she was awarded a Development Grant and a NAVA Artists Grant and received the highly commended prize in the Woollahra Small Sculpture prize. In late 2017 she undertook the the AGNSW Moya Drying residency at the at the Cité International des Arts in Paris. In 2018 she will exhibit work from the residency at Sydney’s PomPom Gallery.
