CERAMIC INSTALLATION BY DAN ELBORNE OPENS ON THE 25TH OF SEPTEMBER

On the 25th of September from 6-8pm, Home@735 Art Gallery will be opening an exhibition of a ceramic installation ‘One Drop of Blood’ by emerging Queensland artist, Dan Elborne. ‘One Drop of Blood’ is an impressive work of art and is an opportunity for Home@735 Gallery to help raise funds for breast cancer research through the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

‘One Drop of Blood’ is an installation comprised of 21,000 hand made ceramic pieces representing the number of white blood cells in a single drop of blood. Dan’s work was conceived and produced as a result of a close family experience with breast cancer. Dan is a registered fundraiser with the National Breast Cancer Foundation and will be asking people to make a donation in exchange for a piece of this unique artwork.

Come along to our opening, meet the artist, make a donation and help further research into breast cancer.
