Drawing classes
Home@735 Director and artist Madeleine Preston will be offering drawing tours of Surry Hills and Redfern on Saturdays from 10-12. The two hour classes will focus on technical aspects of creating. You will be introduced to all aspects of drawing en plein air and each week will focus on a different technique and subject.
Participants will need to arrive at Home@735 Gallery at 9.50am (735 Bourke Street, Redfern near corner of Bourke and Cleveland). Please bring a sketchbook and pencils or charcoal, a rubber and a blade or pencil sharpener.

Professional practice
Home@735 Director and artist Madeleine Preston will be offering a professional practice course. The course will run one night a week over four consecutive weeks covering such topics as:
- Artist Statements
- Applying for exhibitions
- Documentation
- Photographic documentation of your work – editing, storing, best practice
Participants will receive grounding in the key areas of your art practice giving you the valuable skills needed to build your art career. Madeleine has run this course at the National Art School and also privately to recent graduates.
