Madeleine Preston is a Sydney based artist working in painting, ceramics, and installation. She received the G.S.Caird scholarship for Fine Arts at Sydney University and has a MFA in painting from RMIT. In 2015 she was a finalist in the Hobart Art Prize (ceramics) and the Mosman Art Prize (painting). In 2016 she was a finalist in the Blake Prize (ceramics). She will exhibit her ceramic work Little Deaths as part of the Glenn Barkley curated Over Under Sideways Down at Manly Art Gallery in May followed by a solo show in June at Melbourne’s Bus Projects. In September she will curate Stuck in the Mud at Verge Gallery.
